    <content type="html">Walking and riding around in the cool air amid the colours of the fall. Liking this area I've ended up living in rather a lot. This is the best of the seasons, short as though it is.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Only a few months into the cycle of getting up, going to work, coming home and going to sleep without variation or purpose beyond keeping a roof over my head is wearing me down. Every day I wait for the weekend, and then find myself increasingly unhappy once it arrives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;18 minutes go to. I sleep now.</content>

    <content type="html">Tripled the amount of plants in the apartment. 30 gigabytes of stuff to be moved over 10 Mbps ethernet, but I am not in a hurry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My pseudo-Asian cooking today turned out not bad at all. Too bad I then went and ate far too much. There was enough for two...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Crisp and cool after a brief rain. Aircraft passing overhead to the north and flights of birds beginning their migration to the south. A disabled man in an electric wheelchair walking his dog. Comfortable sneakers on my feet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the moment, I am not unhappy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Two hours until Monday.</content>

Despite the usual too little sleep, visited yet another bike shop quite a ways away, naturally riding my bike there and back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The &lt;a href="http://www.focus-bikes.com/bikes_neu/bikes_lang.asp?modell=black%20falls&amp;amp;kategorie=cross"&gt;Focus Black Falls&lt;/a&gt; ltd. that comes with mechanical disc brakes but lower-end fork compared to the linked one is now on the top of my list. Swap the handlebar and add the necessary fenders and stuff and it's close to what I've been looking for...but it's not cheap, and I'm not sure I like the Deore dual-function brake/shift levers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, the &lt;a href="http://www.kalkhoff-bikes.de/bikes/bike_ansicht.asp?kat=fitness&amp;amp;ID=86#"&gt;Kalkhoff Vision&lt;/a&gt; is an option, already coming with stuff I'd need to add to the Focus, and better brakes, but again a lower-end fork and a hub dynamo I don't need adding to the weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I still hesitate. I go almost everywhere by bike so perhaps I'm entitled to a non-sucky one by now. However, the old one still moves forward when I pedal and stops when I brake, and I'm kinda poor. Even if I wasn't, bikes are just...&lt;i&gt;stuff...&lt;/i&gt;that won't make me significantly happier.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the other hand, as long as I keep putting off the whole jumping off a bridge thing, I might as well ride a nice bike, right?</content>
